The International Classic MotorCycle Show, proudly sponsored by Carole Nash, is set to make history on April 26-27, 2025, with the world’s largest-ever public gathering of the legendary Brough Superior SS100. This once-in-a-lifetime event at Stafford Showground will mark the centenary of one of the most revered motorcycles ever built, bringing together over 20 of the rarest and most iconic SS100s in existence.

For enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone with a passion for motorcycle heritage, this is the ultimate celebration of a machine that defined an era. The Brough Superior SS100 isn’t just a motorcycle—it’s a legend. Known as the ‘Rolls-Royce of Motorcycles,’ each SS100 was hand-built to perfection, combining cutting-edge engineering with timeless design. And for one weekend only, Stafford will be the place to see them all in one jaw-dropping display.

Among the highlights of this historic lineup is the famed 1929 JTOR V-twin JAP-powered ‘George VI,’ once owned by none other than T.E. Lawrence—better known as Lawrence of Arabia. This machine, a symbol of adventure and prestige, remained in his possession until 1932, further cementing its place in motorcycling folklore.

Another rare gem making an appearance is the 1927 JTOR V-twin JAP-powered ‘Works Scrapper,’ a bike built by the legendary racer and engineer Freddie Dixon. In 1929, this machine set the benchmark for speed, earning the title of the world’s fastest motorcycle of its time. Also confirmed for the display is the 1926 KTOR V-twin JAP-powered ‘Cunliffe Brough,’ instantly recognizable by its distinctive lilac and nickel finish, a striking example of bespoke craftsmanship from the golden age of motorcycling.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! On Sunday, Bonhams will host a special auction featuring two Brough Superior SS100s, each expected to fetch well over £300,000. Whether you’re in the market for an investment-grade classic or simply want to witness history in the making, this is an auction that promises high stakes and high drama.

But The International Classic MotorCycle Show is about more than just showpieces—it’s a full-throttle celebration of motorcycling culture. The event will be packed with trade stands offering rare parts, spares, and memorabilia, while autojumble stalls will give collectors the chance to unearth hidden treasures. Motorcycle clubs and private collectors from across the UK will showcase pristine restorations and unique builds, making this an unmissable weekend for classic bike lovers.

Adding to the excitement, TV presenter, Brough Superior enthusiast, and all-round bike nut Henry Cole will be a special guest, taking to the stage throughout the weekend to share stories, insights, and plenty of banter.

Tickets for this historic event are available now, and booking in advance could save you over 20%! Advance tickets are priced at just £16.50, with on-the-gate entry at £21. Even better, under-16s go free—so it’s the perfect day out for families looking to soak up some two-wheeled nostalgia.
