How to change the boot up on your carpuride 

Changing the logo boot up on your Carpuride is actually really simple, and if you have an old micro SD card laying around, it makes it even more simple!
BEFORE YOU BEGIN, YOU ARE CARRYING THIS OUT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

First we need to create the boot file to change over the logo, there are a few ways to do this. However I know not everyone has photoediting tools so this is the quickest way.
Also this is for the Carpuride W502, I am sure its similar process for other models but I cannot test this idea.

• Chose the  logo or photo of your choice, if you want a Manufacturer logo this will  need to be  a transparent one  (no background) 

• Then  you need to create a  digital image of 800 x 480 Pixels, if you have a way of doing this go ahead if not follow this guide here 

• Once you have created the file, head to https://carpu.dszymanski.pl  ( i am  not affiliated with this website in anyway and you use as your own risk)
  Here you can select your model  and upload the file the picture you just created, this will generate  a file called isp_part.bin  see image below
  
  

That's it the file you need is now created, we can now move onto the next step.

• Grab you micro SD card, CARPURIDE suggest a 32GB card minimum but I used an old 8GB one I had laying around and it worked fine! 

• Connect it to your laptop or PC, you will need a micro SD card reader something like this will work wonders https://amzn.to/3SjqBcf

• Once connected, make sure the SD card is blank ( you may need to format it) then copy the file over to it.

• Remove the SD card we now need to slot it into the CARPURIDE unit

IMPORTANT MAKE SURE THE CARPURIDE UNIT IS POWERED UP BEFORE PUTTING SD CARD IN DEVICE 

So thats it, you can now remove the SD card and this will be your logo on boot up, you can reset this logo as many times as you want!
